Cairncrest Farm is in the rolling hills of central New York, just a few miles from Cooperstown, home of the baseball hall of fame. My names Garth, and I own and run the farm with my wife Alanna, my brother Ed, and my sister-in-law Normandy. There are also usually some kids, cats, and a dog or two running around. We raise grass fed beef, lamb, and pastured pork, and we also sell pastured, certified organic chicken raised on a wonderful farm in nearby Canajoharie.
My aim is to connect people who care about high quality, well raised food directly with a farm that shares their values. Prior to 2020 I would deliver to in-person meet ups throughout New Jersey. We've since shifted to shipping directly to our customers' homes, using insulated liners and dry ice. We ship weekly, so you never have to wait long for your order to arrive.
When we would meet up with customers in person we were limited to just a few places, mostly in the northern part of the state. One big benefit to our shift to home delivery is that our area now encompasses everywhere, even the shore. Another benefit is that we now ship every week rather than once a month. Every Tuesday we ship organic chicken, grass fed lamb, and more, and the next day it arrives on your doorstep, no matter where in New Jersey you live.
