This ground beef comes from a bull we slaughtered this year. It was raised and managed the same way we do with all our other cattle - 100% grass fed and finished on our pastures. Bulls have a distinct, robust flavor that some people prefer. Some people do not like it.
Bulls also put on more muscle relative to fat, so the meat is leaner than the other ground beef we have to sell.
The packaging on this meat is in 2 lb vacuum sealed bricks (not our regular 1 lb).
