Grass-fed Lamb

All forage all the time (no grain ever). Our lambs live their entire lives in out in the fields, eating grasses, golden rod, burdock, and clover, to name just a few of the plants on offer in our pastures. We're offering a select few cuts of mutton this year. The meat from hair sheep (what we raise) is mild and delicious even as mutton. Hair sheep produce much less lanolin than wool breeds so they never develop strong sheepy/gamey flavors.
