Cherry Board

Simple and practical, we use a set of these beautiful cherry boards in our house daily. You can slice an apple or cut your sandwich directly onto the board. They are easy to clean and a natural alternative to the plastic dishes designed for children. Our design is now made by our neighbor, Lee Lindsey Jr. who runs a dairy farm with his father and brother just over the hill from us. One would make a beautiful cheese board or use multiple boards as a casual place setting. The locally milled wood is treated with mineral oil and beeswax to give it a beautiful satin finish. As you can see in the photo, cherry wood will deepen in color over time. Like all wooden cutting boards, you will need to protect it periodically with mineral oil. 9.5 x 7 x 5/16 inches.
