      Of course I’m biased, but I think she’s pretty cute too! You spotted the coffee… that was mine and she held it so I could take the video.

      The boards I got off my land. I got a little portable mill last winter (Turner brand) because it was robustly built and a lot less expensive than an equivalent Woodmizer. I have a lot of hemlock forest I want to convert into pasture, and I seem to have an almost insatiable need for lumber with my various farm construction projects. I’ve not saved myself the cost of the mill just yet, but another year or two and I will have… pretty good turn around for smaller scale machinery investment.

      Oh yeah! Our sows are all very docile. The perkiest are the purebred Berkshire, but even they have calmed down a lot now that they’re experienced mothers (first litters from them they were pretty anxious). The pictured sow is a tamworth/red wattle/berkshire cross.
